Presenting the Slate of Candidates in the 2022 Coffee Roasters Guild Election

By CRG PAST CHAIR FILIP BARTELAK

Dear members and friends of the Coffee Roasters Guild around the globe,

Today, it is my pleasure to present the slate of candidates in the 2022 CRG Leadership Council elections. The CRG Election Committee has put forward the following professionals after an extensive interview process:

  • Davide Cobelli

  • Tonny Butera

  • Emily Smith

  • Sara Gibson

  • Baylee Engberg (incumbent)

The CRG Leadership Council consists of 12 volunteer members who serve a 2-year term, supported by the SCA staff. There are 5 open seats in the 2022 election, and members elected to serve on the council this cycle will serve a term from February 2023 to January 2025. Scroll down to learn more about each candidate.

There are five open seats in this year’s CRG election. As the number of candidates this year is equal to the number of open seats, there is no need to proceed with a voting process, and the CRG Leadership Council has confirmed these five professionals as members of the 2023 CRG Leadership Council, in accordance with the CRG bylaws.

We would like to give the community the chance to provide comments on the professionals listed above. If you have any feedback, please get in touch with us before November 21 by filling out this form.

Thank you to our 2022 Election Committee for the hours of work interviewing all of the nominees that we received. It was a lot of hard work and we appreciate their dedication to the Guild.
